A journey through Portugal’s taste, craft, and rural soul — designed for teams seeking a reset through slow, grounded, and meaningful experiences.
Designed for:
- Small teams (6–15 participants)
- Cross-functional groups, project leaders, management cells
- Teams in transition, post-project decompression, or creative reset mode
What is it?
Gastro Hunt is a curated 2–3 day corporate experience focused on culinary immersion, hands-on regional traditions, and authentic encounters. Tailored for small corporate teams – from executives to cross-functional creative groups – this program removes participants from their everyday roles and drops them into the world of shepherds, foragers, winemakers, and fire-side chefs.
By doing what they’ve never done – milking goats, tasting raw olive oil, baking ancient bread, or cooking under stars – participants expand perspective, build connection, and slow down enough to see each other (and themselves) differently.
Why it works
Recent studies in experiential learning and embodied cognition show that physical, manual, and sensory experiences rewire perception and unlock creative pathways. Learning non-professional skills in new contexts boosts empathy, curiosity, and stress release. Culinary processes, in particular, engage both memory and collaboration centers in the brain – deepening team dynamics.
